Directing Light with Rotatable Mirrors
Each level in Light Path presents a grid containing a light emitter, several adjustable mirrors, and one or more diamonds. Your task is to rotate the mirrors so that the emitted beam travels along a continuous path and illuminates every diamond on the board. Because each mirror changes the beam's direction, a single rotation can redirect light across multiple segments of the grid. The challenge lies in planning a sequence of reflections that covers all targets without leaving any diamond dark.
Controls and Moment-to-Moment Play
Interaction is simple: tap or click a mirror to rotate it, and the beam updates instantly. This immediate feedback lets you test arrangements without penalty. A two-minute timer runs alongside each puzzle, adding a light sense of pace, but it does not force quick decisions—you can take time to think through each rotation. The goal remains clear: light every diamond to complete the level and move on.
Level Progression and Increasing Complexity
The game includes 60 unique levels that gradually introduce new mechanics and obstacles. Early puzzles focus on basic reflection angles, while later stages combine multiple mirrors, varied emitter positions, and additional board elements that require more deliberate planning. This steady ramp keeps the experience fresh and ensures that each new concept builds on skills you have already practiced. The difficulty rises as you advance, but the core rule—direct light to all diamonds—stays consistent.
Approaches for Solving Puzzles
Before rotating any mirror, study the layout and trace possible paths from the emitter to each diamond. Working backward from a diamond to the light source can reveal which mirror angles are needed. If you get stuck, try rotating a mirror you have not adjusted yet; a small change often opens a new route. The timer is there to add excitement, not pressure, so use it as a pacing tool rather than a source of stress. Regular practice helps improve spatial reasoning and pattern recognition.
